'Alternative facts' on abortion in Porter County

I almost drove off the road recently on Route 20 in Portage when I passed a billboard that said "90 percent of women regret having an abortion." Talk about misinformation. This is an out-and-out lie (excuse me, "alternative fact"). This can be proven in minutes by doing a little research. In fact, a study done in 2015 by the University of California showed the exact opposite â more than 90 percent of women who had abortions felt no regret at all.The anti-women's rights groups (I refuse to call them "pro-life," I'm pro-life, who isn't?) have no compunction about rewriting the truth to suit their goals. The vast majority of Americans support Roe v. Wade (studies show the number is more than 69 percent) and these anti-choice groups know it. They just refuse to accept it. In their desperation they will do anything, like spreading other lies such as abortions cause breast cancer and suicide.
