Texas Lawmaker Proposes Fine For Male Masturbators--Compares It To Abortion Laws
Townhall

Rep. Jessica Farrar (D), a member of the Texas House of Representatives, has proposed a bill that would fine men $100 for masturbating. In a bill that is designed to satirize abortion laws in Texas, Farrar's legislation would also mandate that men undergo counseling before receiving a prescription for Viagra and would protect conscience rights of doctors to refuse to perform vasectomies or colonoscopies. From The Hill:The legislation introduced by state Rep. Jessica Farrar (D) would impose a $100 civil penalty for "masturbatory emissions" that take place outside of a woman's vagina or a hospital. Each incident would be "considered an act against an unborn child, and failing to preserve the sanctity of life," the bill reads.Farrarâs measure — which she dubbed âsatiricalâ — would allow doctors to refuse to conduct vasectomies, write prescriptions for Viagra or perform a colonoscopy if those actions violate the doctor's personal, moral or religious beliefs.
